Officers and members of the Society spent from the mid 1980’s to the early 1990’s walking and transcribing every cemetery that they knew of in Davidson County. The goal was to extract the wealth of knowledge that a cemetery contains and put into a book so that all could view and research. There ended up being a total of eight volumes, each volume covering a specific geographic area of Davidson County. Each volume contains a full name index.
